4. Basis and purpose of use of the data file

Vexve Oy processes the personal data of contact persons of its customers and potential customers for the management, maintenance and development of customer relationships and other relationships based on a relevant connection, targeting of marketing, analysis, production, provision and development of services, market research, and other statistical purposes. Personal data stored in the data file may be used for marketing aimed at customers or potential customers of Vexve Oy (incl. electronic direct marketing) and the targeting of such marketing within restrictions imposed by law. Customers have the right to determine the contact persons whose personal data is stored in the Vexve Oy customer register for a specific customer relationship.

5. Data included in the register

Data stored in the register does not include personal data unnecessary for the management of a current or future customer relationship.

The register may contain the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address
  • Postal address
  • Title and/or position in the company
  • Marketing bans
  • Information on the customer relationship, such as billing and payments

Furthermore, the register may contain information pertaining to the customer that have been collected prior to or during a possible customer relationship, such as:

  • Information on future events (times an dates of meetings)
  • Historical data on past events (information on contacts, offers and meetings)

We collect personal data during the customer relationship and during work carried out towards the forming of a potential customer relationship. Data may be collected and supplemented with the consent of the data subject (e.g. with the use of cookies), from the Population Register Centre, and other third-party data controllers. We may also collect data in connection with various marketing activities, such as events, or from sources in the public domain.

7. Disclosure of data

Vexve Oy may disclose data stored in its data file within the restrictions and obligations of legislation in force. Data may be disclosed in connection with possible corporate transactions carried out by Vexve.

For purposes of technical or operative implementation of data processing, parts of the data may be transferred to subcontractors of Vexve Oy, or the data may be otherwise processed by means of a technical connection.

8. Principles of data protection

All members of personnel and unaffiliated persons acting on the behalf of Vexve Oy observe professional secrecy concerning all customer data. Use of the register is protected by means of user-specific credentials, passwords and access rights. The data is processed via a secure connection.

9. Right of access to data in the register and its execution

All data subjects have the right to access their personal data. This right of access may be executed free of charge once per year (12 months). Under the Personal Data Act, data subjects have the right to access their personal data stored in the data file by submitting a personally signed request or by appearing in person in the premises of the controller. The contact information of the controller are stated in sections 1 and 2 of this privacy statement.

10. Rectification and erasure of personal data

Data subjects have the right to request the rectification or erasure of inaccurate, incomplete, unnecessary or outdated personal data by notifying the controller at the address provided in section 1 of this privacy statement. Data stored in the register may be erased at the request of the data subject.
